Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, 28th January 2025 – Beicip-Franlab Asia proudly hosted two landmark events: the Multi-client Study Phase 1 Off the Coast of West Sarawak Handover Ceremony and the Malay Basin Integrated Basin Study Signing Ceremony.
The event began with opening remark by Ms. Noorbaizura Hashim, Chief Executive Officer (Asia), Beicip-Franlab Asia, highlighting the success story of Multi-client Phase 1. The momentum continued with a speech by Mr. Khairul Hamidi Khalid, General Manager, PSC Exploration Management, Resource Exploration, MPM. The ceremony was graced by distinguished guests, including Datuk Ir. Bacho Pilong, Senior Vice President of MPM, PETRONAS, Mr. Azmir Zamri, Senior General Manager Resource Exploration of MPM, and Mr. Norafizal Saad, Senior General Manager Resource Development & Management of MPM. We are delighted to have ConocoPhillips (COP) and INPEX, TotalEnergies and Chevron as our sponsors. We also would like to thank our key industry players such as SHELL, PERTAMINA, POSCO, IDEMITSU, SKEO, and others further enriched the event, showcasing the collaborative spirit driving the success of these studies.
