Drawing on its extensive experience in energy solutions, BFA will collaborate with PETRONAS Carigali and PETRONAS Carigali International Ventures to advance innovative exploration, development, and production initiatives. The collaboration will focus on optimising resource recovery, implementing advanced technologies, and fostering capability building, while creating sustainable value in key markets.

The MOU outlines collaboration in several strategic areas, including exploration basin studies, unconventional resources studies, carbon capture and storage (CCS), capability building, and complex reservoir systems. 

The signing ceremony, held at the Four Seasons Hotel Kuala Lumpur, was attended by senior executives from both organisations, underscoring the significance of this collaboration and its potential to redefine upstream innovation.
